Study a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Diak

Bachelor’s degrees at Finnish universities of applied sciences (AMK) are undergraduate degrees that provide practical skills in addition to a solid foundation of theoretical knowledge.

The degrees prepare students for a broad range of specialist, planning and development tasks in the public, private and third sectors.

Practical training opportunities in a variety of operating environments support a student’s professional growth.

After successful completion of a bachelor’s degree and at least two years of relevant work experience, the student may continue on to complete a master’s degree.

Master’s degrees at Finnish universities of applied sciences (YAMK) are advanced degrees focused on professional development that deepen specialized expertise and skills.

Master’s degree studies are strongly work-oriented. For example, the thesis is tightly integrated with work during the entire programme.

Detailed educational qualification and work experience requirements are defined separately in the description of each programme.
