The University of Tromsø with 16000 students and 3.500 staff members is the northernmost university in the world and one of 4 classical universities in Norway. It offers a broad range of subject fields in 11 faculties/schools with studies in Engineering, Technology, Buisness, Social Education humanities, social sciences, natural sciences/mathematics/statistics/informatics, law, medical sciences and fisheries science. All the main subject areas are offered at Bachelor’s, Master’s and PhD level.

At UiT, we use a web-based application service called SøknadsWeb (Application Web) for the submission of online applications. The admission intake starts in October and the deadline for submitting all required documents is 1 December every year.
